What I hope to see in the iPhone 13
Fall is approaching quickly and that means new iPhone’s! This is the favourite time of the year for nerds and geeks like myself who is always looking forward to what the next big iPhone will be and, nowadays, how many versions of the phone they’ll have.
The iPhone 13 Pro is the one that I am most excited for since it will have all the latest and greatest features. So, there are a few things that I am hoping to see in the new iPhone 13, and honestly, most of them come from my previous iPhone 12 Wishlist so Apple needs to add these features or else they will get stuck in the past.
120Hz Refresh Rate
I mean, it’s almost embarrassing that the iPhone’s don’t have this at this point. 120Hz has been around for years now, it’s the standard on most Android devices, but for some reason, Apple won’t add it to their iPhones. And if they don’t add it to the iPhone 13, then it helps justify the more expensive price of the iPhone 13 Pro.
It’s not that they are lacking the technology. They have the 120Hz refresh rate in their iPad Pro, so why not add it to their iPhone’s yet?
As someone who just moved from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the one thing that I miss the most is Touch ID. I love how quick, easy, fast and secure it is. And, now, in this world of masks, Face ID gets in the way rather than being a quick and easy method of unlocking your iPhone.
I think that it would be great to see Touch ID be built into the power button, just like they have it on the new iPad Air. This doesn’t mean that they have to get rid of Face ID, but it’ll be a lot more convenient to have a fingerprint sensor built in for the times that we are wearing a mask, its too dark, etc.
Smaller Camera Notch
This is something that people have been asking for since the initial release of the iPhone X and Apple still hasn’t done it. The camera notch on the iPhone’s are one of the biggest in the industry. And it makes sense, they…
